Profile: 

Dr. Abhinav Thaduri is a dedicated Head and Neck Oncologist with over a decade of clinical and academic experience in the management of complex cancers of the head and neck region. He currently serves as Consultant at Basavatarakam Indo American Cancer Hospital and Research Institute, Hyderabad, where he contributes to the multidisciplinary team delivering advanced oncological care.

Dr. Abhinav completed his MBBS from Bhaskar Medical College, Hyderabad, followed by MS in Otorhinolaryngology from Gandhi Medical College. He then pursued super-specialty training with an M.Ch in Head and Neck Surgery and Oncology at the prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Rishikesh. His career journey has included key roles as Junior and Senior Resident in leading government hospitals, a fellowship in Head and Neck Oncology at Basavatarakam Indo American Cancer Institute, and academic residency at AIIMS Rishikesh. Prior to his current role, he was Consultant Head and Neck Oncologist at Prathima Cancer Hospital, Hyderabad.

His clinical expertise spans surgical management of oral cavity cancers, laryngeal and pharyngeal malignancies, thyroid and salivary gland tumors, and advanced reconstructive techniques. He is particularly skilled in functional preservation surgeries, flap reconstructions, and multidisciplinary treatment planning. Dr. Abhinav is actively involved in sarcoma and oral cancer research, with a focus on improving oncological outcomes and quality of life for patients.

He has presented his work at national and international forums including ESMO Asia Congress, ASCO, and regional ENT conferences, and is a member of several professional societies such as the Association of Otorhinolaryngologists of India, American Society of Clinical Oncology, European Society of Medical Oncology, and the Foundation of Head and Neck Oncology. His contributions to research have resulted in multiple publications in high-impact journals, addressing topics such as extranodal extension in oral cancer, functional outcomes in glossectomy survivors, and the psychosocial impact of cancer care in India.
