Roles and Responsibilities:
The IACRF is looking for a dynamic leader with proven credentials in research and development to lead its efforts to fight against cancer. The Director of Research will be responsible for planning, executing and monitoring research projects in cancer biology, therapeutics and management; developing collaborative programs within the hospital and with other national and international organizations. The IACRF is expected to facilitate and enable the hospital to leverage cutting-edge approaches such as precision medicine, pharmacogenomics etc. The Director of Research is expected to provide scientific and administrative leadership along with liaising with funding agencies.
Key responsibilities include:

Develop research projects with the research team and clinicians.

Participate in, and lead research projects.

Participate and represent the research team in the ‘Governing Board’, ‘Steering Committee’, and ‘Research Council’ meetings.

Position: Director – Projects
The Role:-
As part of the leadership buildout, BIACHRI is seeking to appoint a Director – Projects for the institution. The individual will drive the project from concept to execution, commissioning and handing over to the user department at BIACHRI.
Key responsibilities of this role will include:
Project Management
-
Define project scope, goals and deliverables in collaboration with key stakeholders. Develop full-scale project plans and associated communication documents.

Build upon the existing design, monitor and get the drawings prepared for the construction as per the project requirement. Acquire necessary permission, permits, licenses, statutory compliances etc.

Draft and submit budget proposals, and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary. Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.

Participate in or oversee the pre-qualification and bid evaluation process for consultants, contractors, and other vendors and architects.

Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools. Track project milestones and deliverables. Oversee day-to-day contracts and commercial administration.
Manage project costs and timelines

Plan, execute, and finalize projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This will include acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan.
