Cancer Screening and Awareness Session at Bharat Electronics Limited.

Venue – Bharat Electronics Limited & JNTU Kukatpally.
On the Request of BEL (Bharath Electronics Limited) organized a Cancer Screening program and Lecture on Cancer Awareness.
About 168 members were screened and necessary screening tests were performed with the Mobile Unit.
A Talk was given by Dr K. Kalpana Raghunath, to create Cancer Awareness among the staff in their Seminar Hall between 3 to 5pm attended by 350 employees and well appreciated by them.
The majority of the people reported for cancer screening are in the age group of 40 to 55 years.

The Annual Meet “VILAS’20” was conducted on 21st September 2019 at Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, by the department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. In the Memory of one of their student who succumbed to cancer.
A Talk was given by Dr K. Kalpana Raghunath on Cancer Awareness in their seminar hall between 10:30 to 12:00noon, attended by 300 students and faculty and Highly appreciated by them.
