Dr. Zeeba Usofi is a highly skilled and compassionate Surgical Oncologist specializing in advanced peritoneal surface malignancies and complex cytoreductive procedures. She completed her M.B.B.S. from B.J. Government Medical College and Sassoon General Hospitals, Pune, followed by her M.S. in General Surgery from L.T.M.M.C., Sion, Mumbai. She went on to earn her Dr.NB in Surgical Oncology from the renowned Basavatarakam Indo American Cancer Hospital and Research Institute, Hyderabad, one of India’s leading centers for comprehensive cancer care. She also holds membership of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (M.R.C.S.).

Dr. Usofi’s surgical expertise spans minimally invasive, laparoscopic, and robotic oncologic procedures. She has undergone advanced training in Peritoneal Surface Oncology and Hyperthermic Intraperitoneal Chemotherapy (HIPEC) — a highly specialized and technically demanding area of cancer surgery. Among a very small group of surgeons in India, and even fewer women, performing complex Peritonectomies and HIPEC procedures, Dr. Usofi stands out for her commitment to pushing the boundaries of precision cancer surgery while maintaining the highest standards of safety and patient care.

Her clinical focus includes management of advanced ovarian and other peritoneal malignancies, with particular emphasis on cytoreductive surgery for peritoneal metastases. She is deeply committed to offering multidisciplinary, patient-centered oncologic care and integrating innovation with empathy in every aspect of treatment.

As one of the few female surgical oncologists in a field that remains male-dominated, Dr. Usofi is also a strong advocate for women in surgery and oncology.
